This restaurant location had been closed and vacant for 6 years prior to Old School Deli coming in 2013 and remodeling & updating it to what it is today.

A great place that is hidden and off the beaten path! Stopped in for breakfast with my dad on Father's Day. The staff was friendly, sweet, accommodating and attentive. Food was even better! Overall, an awesome little place that I highly recommend for anyone!
Awesome onion rings!! Homemade light and crispy!.. I usually get a reuben or some veesiin of it and never disappoints.. Mom usually gets a burger! Really good! Its kind of hidden if it was more visible and not at 13 groesbeck where there is a lot of traffic it would be packed all day!
Damn, actual Homemade biscuits w gravy. Not the preformed lumps of dough like most places and a good sausage gravy. On Sundays they also have SOS which was also really good. I'll be back to try their house made pastrami and corned beef.
This is me and my boyfriends regular place! We know the food is always going to be great. My boyfriend loves the corn beef hash and my favorite sandwich is the Ruler. We always get fried mushrooms to share. The burgers are really good as well! The service is great. Everyone is so nice there.
Stopped in today on a whim. I had the hot roast beef (with homemade mashed potatoes), hubby had podium burgers (ginormous sliders) & daughter had the wise guy (cheesesteak). OMG! What an amazing hidden gem! The lead server is super sweet & the head chef & owner was great too! The food was fantastic! It has a divey old time 50s diner feel to it...
